Many of us feel uncomfortable showing our artwork to others. Which one of these four do you feel most comfortable showing your artwork to? A Family Member? A Friend? A Stranger? Your Art Teachers? Tell me why.

I probably would be the most nervous with my friends because they are the most judgemental

I would say my art teachers because if it wasn't very good they wouldn't laugh at it and they would also be able to help me make it better.

The person I would most likely show my art work to is a family member or my art teacher...I would be most scared to show it to some of my friends. Two of my friends I really wouldn't mind but I would be afraid to show it to all my friends. I know that my teacher, my family, and those two friends would support me with what ever choice I made.

I feel most comfortable showing my friends my artwork because my friends always are supportive. My mother is an artist and always seems to find something that is wrong with what I did. I like showing my friends what I did because they will like it even if its really bad.
I feel most comfortable showing my artwork to my parents because they won't criticize me. The others may think and say that the piece of artwork is not good at all. You may have put a lot of work into it so you would want it to be recognized as good.

I would Feel comfortable sharing my artwork with anyone! i like to see peoples reactions about my art.
I usually like to draw other people, and thats no fun unless you share the outcome with someone.

If I had to show my art to one of these four, I would want to show in to my teacher. This is because the teacher can recognize any problems with the piece and help with fixing the problems. Anybody else would not notice and just nod and say 'good job.'

I would feel most comfortable showing my work to a friend. I'd wana show it to them because i feel more comfortable around them. If i showed it to my mom I'd feel like she would just tell me it looks good because she's my mom. With a friend I'd feel like they'd be honest with me and they'd give me their own opinion and not sugar coat it like i think my mom would.
I would feel weird showing my artwork to a family member. I say this because they would have a different opinion about it than your teachers or friends. They might not understand the image like a art teacher or a friend would.

Who i feel comfortable sharing my art with is with my parents and my teacher. I feel that they will support my art work more then my friends would. My parents and my teacher wouldn't make as much fun of the art then my friends would.

A friend, even if the artwork is terrible a good friend will still say they like it.
My family members because they will tell me if they like my artwork or not and will be truthful.

I am most comfortable showing my art work to a family member because all i really draw is things i enjoy and what i feel. I also a wonderful graphitti drawer. I love drawing my friends names in a weird font. I draw my family members names and they frame them in like their room or what ever

I feel comfortable with my art teacher seeing my work and my parents!This way i wouldn't have to risk other people looking at my work or teasing me about my art.
I feel most comfortable showing art to my parents. I know they won't laugh at me. I sometimes fell self-consice about it and don't want to feel stupid.

I feel more comfortable showing it to the people I know like my family members, my friends and my art teachers but I could also show it to a stranger if I feel like it.

I like showing my art work to my mom
because she always tells me that my that my art work is good and that makes me feel good.I don't like showing my art work to anyone else because I never know what they are going to say.
I feel I can be comfertable showing it to my parent because they would not make fun of my drawing. They might just play around with me. They would not make fun of me though. Someone else might since I am a bad drawer. I am comfertable telling my friends to. We would tell each other that there's is better than ours to each other and play around.

I would feel most comfortable sharing my art with a family member (specifically my mom) because my they wont make fun of me for it, like maybe a friend or stranger would. I would show an art teacher if I did the art in class but not if I did work at home

I feel comfortable showing my parents, sister(one of them), and my art teacher because they usually have an open mind.
The people I am most comfortable sharing my art with are my friends, because some of the things I draw my parents might not understand, but I can explain them easily to my friends without feeling like an idiot for drawing it. Also, we often draw things in similar styles, so we can sympathize if something didn't quite turn out right, and can give each other tips.

I think it is easiest for me to show my artwork to a friend because they most likely did the same assignment or know about the assignment. Also, if I show a friend i think there would be less criticism than if i showed a teacher or my family.

When I perform or make art, I feel immensely accomplished and want to post it to everyone. This mostly pertains to performing on stage, because I don't draw or paint usually. Performing in front of everyone there, family, friends, art teachers, and even strangers, make me happy. Just because I love to perform art. Although, when I do make drawings and pretty paintings, i like to show it to everyone. Even if I don't know them..

When I make art (which isn't often) I feel the most comfortable showing it to my friends. This is because, my friends will give me constructive criticism and if it isn't the greatest, we can laugh about it and I won't feel stupid.

I guess to some people art is something personal to them, or like a part of themselves.to some people art is way to express themselves and if other people see it they don't like the feeling of being judged or something. It doesn't really matter to me who sees it, and it like also depends on what i put on there.

i think that i would be most comfortable with a stranger 'cause a stranger would be the most honest without judging you,as a family member would be more aware of your feelings and might say a white lie. also with a stranger its done more anonymous you probaly won't ever see that person again and you won't have to live with them as to a friend or a family member.

I would mostly show my artwork to anyone. I like to show my artwork to different kinds of people to get their different views and opinions. I would rather show my artwork to my friends because sometimes my artwork might not be that good and I don't want to show other people the not so good artwork. Also my friends will tell me my artwork is good even though its good or bad.

I would most likely show my art teachers my work because if it was bad I would want my teacher to tell me if it is not any of my friends because that would just be their opinion, but from a teacher it would be a fact that I could make it better.

I would feel more comfortable showing my art to my art teacher. No one in my family is really into art, so they might not understand the art. My friends might be too objective sometimes. I want to be able to feel comfortable and understood and I think a person accomplished in art would do just that.

Honestly I don't really care who sees my paintings. Even if they are seen by not so good comments, about it. But really , I like to let people that are good in the Art field. So that I can hear what they really have to say.

I feel most comfortable showing my art teachers my art. Without question, parents are kind of obliged to pamper you with praise when you show them art. You could show them stick figures and they would pat you on the back and give hugs and kisses. On the other hand, if I show my art to my art teacher, my art is subject to criticism which is the bread and butter of getting better. If nobody tells you how to get better, you'll never get better. Art teachers are also much more qualified when it comes to art. they have more experience. Also, if you have a great piece of art, if just feels fantastic to hear an art teacher give you compliments. A friend is too blunt and will just say "You suck and I never want to look at your art ever again." A stranger is just awkward. There you go.

But, I don't mind sharing my art as long as people know I am not good at all.

I feel more comfortble showing my art to strangers. They will have no symathy for you( like a family or friend). They don't know who you are and they may have lots of bad things to say , as well as good things.And i would rather have the truth than sugar code it

I feel comfortable showing my art work to my art teacher because they have the inspiration that makes you confident about your work and you not wanting to hide it from others.Also they do not judge you the way others might.
