Wood Cutouts - Trimester One

8th grade students studied the design element; space. They created a positive/negative space design and used hand saws to cut them out. The frames were also hand cut by the students. They studied color schemes and chose one as the basis of their overall design. (Primary, Secondary, Intermediate, Cool, Warm, Analogous, Monochromatic) Some of the photos in this slide show were taken with an iPad 2, and filtered with the Pixlromatic app.
